Assistant Product Manager

Job Description

Adeption is a web-based and mobile platform that optimizes professional development content by transforming learning into action to achieve measurable results. We’re looking for an Assistant Product Manager to help us drive our day-to-day product development process. The ideal candidate is confident in the digital environment and passionate about creating an outstanding user experience by managing customer feedback, requirements, and issues. You’ll have a keen eye for gaps in the process and an innovative mindset to fill these in.

Reports to: Product Manager 

Position type: Full time

Objectives of this Role 

  • Assist in driving the product planning/development process across cross-functional teams of the company
  • Analyze customer needs to inform our product roadmap
  • Manage customer feedback, requirements, and issues
  • Enable successful experience creation by conducting product training and creating training materials

Job Overview & Responsibilities 

The key focus areas for the Assistant Product Manager are:  

Product development [60%] 

Project scoping & planning 

  • Work with the Product Manager and VP Product on product strategy, roadmap, and timeframes
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and development team to prioritize sprints and estimate timeframes for new enhancements in line with our product vision
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Gather user feedback and assess client needs in order to inform product decision making
  • Run demos and coordinate beta testing of new features for key stakeholders
  • Create timely release notes

Process control  

  • Assisting with testing enhancements prior to a release using a user experience lens
  • Maintain an overview of bugs raised and assist with investigating, replicating, and reporting bugs
  • Ensure post-release bugs are reported and fixed in a timely manner, including providing updates to the Customer Success team 
  • Assist the Product Manager with creating improvements to the development processes, including the bug resolution process

Product training & design enablement [40%] 

Training and supporting experience designers & administrators on Adeption

  • Assisting with product-related queries
  • Taking new admins through the training certification process
  • Providing updates on releases/enhancements
  • Assisting with testing as new experiences are released

Ensuring the Experience Design team is aware of new features and functionality, and how to include these in their experience builds

Assisting the Product Manager with the creation of resources to support admins on Adeption, including updating existing resources as enhancements are released

Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst who is passionate about identifying creative and innovative solutions for business

Senior Business Analyst is an Individual Contributor role where you would be involved in identifying complex fuzzy
problems, breaking them down into smaller parts and implementing creative, data-driven solutions.

You would be responsible for defining, tracking and improving key metrics and communicating business trends to stakeholders. You will partner a cross-functional team which is developing innovative computer vision/machine learning systems and advanced visualization applications to create enormous impact through the use of the latest analytical tools and techniques.

At Adeption, high focus on impact and ownership allows for freedom for each to experiment and innovate.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis: interact with key stakeholders in multiple global locations and analyze existing systems and
processes to understand the gap between current state and target state

Requirements Specification: collaborate with other team members to translate the business needs into documented
requirements through an accurate, precise and detailed specification process

Process Design: develop relevant use cases, design business process and data flows, and specify functional/non-
functional requirements

Stakeholder Engagement: develop a stakeholder management plan, ensure buy-in from relevant counterparts and
manage dependencies across the project delivery lifecycle

Project Implementation: oversee the implementation of major projects by scoping and prioritizing deliverables,
challenging existing assumptions and come up with alternative solutions in case of blockers

Data analysis: enable data-driven decision making, execute quantitative analysis that translates data into actionable
insights and influence new opportunities for business based on internal/ external data

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute
    or an MBA from a reputed institute
  • 6-8 years of Business Analysis experience


  • Problem-solving skills – ability to break a problem down into smaller parts and develop a solutioning approach with an appreciation for Math and Business
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel
  • Good understanding of cyber security and the challenges around implementing change in this space
  • Familiar with enterprise risk frameworks and the way large organizations govern risk thresholds
  • Prior experience working on multiple system integration project.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of EdTech industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)
  • Good background in statistical modeling and experience with statistical tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS or SPSS.
  • Working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc)
  • Basic knowledge of international taxation (GST) will be beneficial.

QA Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a self-starting, proactive problem solver to join our Quality Assurance team! 

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the Adeption development team with particular responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation.  

You’ll be involved in the creation of business requirements inputting the test scripts and test scenarios to ensure developers understand the business requirements so that they can be effectively tested.  

You will be working closely with developers as they develop code to ensure requirements are being met and to the correct quality, and you will conduct automated (and manual tests where necessary) to ensure the software created is fit for purpose.  

During testing, you will be thinking “outside of the box” to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained and through doing so drive regression testing across the products.  You will be responsible for defining and driving innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into our overall development processes that support and enhance the current Quality Assurance processes within Adeption.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Tests the overall solution using the right testing techniques and tools 
  • Analyze requirements and prepare a query list. If requirements are incomplete, need to ask meaningful  questions that will yield more information and help transform these into Use cases and create test plans 
  • Design and execute a manual test to address areas such as database impacts, solution scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, outage scenario, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation. 
  • Perform Upgrades, High Availability, Usability, Cross Browser, Exploratory testing 
  • Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, during test planning  meeting 
  • Collaborate with Global team to develop effective strategies and test plans 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Requirements Analysis: interact with key stakeholders in multiple global locations and analyze existing systems and processes to understand the gap between the current state and target state

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience: 6-8 years
  • The candidate should have experience in manual (Web and Mobile) testing. 
  • Experience in black box testing. 
  • The candidate should be able to understand requirements and convert them into test cases correctly. Experience working on parallel development tracks at the same time is required 
  • Understanding of working in Agile Software Development (SCRUM) model  
  • Experience in working in Azure DevOps for creating, maintaining test plans, defects, regression suits, etc
  • Understand Web Applications, XML, write simple SQL or PL/SQL queries for the DB.  
  • The candidate should have good analytical skills and should be proactive to participate in discussions. 
  • The candidate should be capable of multi-tasking and balancing tasks with priorities and should be capable of thoroughly test the application.


  • Knowledge of automation testing with selenium & C#.

Web Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of our
website. You will build our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up.
We are looking for an individual who works within a team to analyze, design, document, develop, test, and maintain
primarily web-based applications for JumpShift Ltd. using the desired technologies. He/she should be familiar with standard
concepts, practices and procedures of a business environment, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish

Key Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Develop software applications
• Translate business requirements into database and software designs
• Provide time estimates for new development, proposals and change orders
• Utilize industry best practices where applicable
• Implement and maintain existing and new web architecture landscapes

Development Responsibilities (60%)
• Develop new and enhance existing web applications with Microsoft’s .NET framework
• Integrate third party UI in the existing systems
• Design and build database queries and reports to supply data using SQL
• Support ASAP and Agile project implementation methodology

Production Responsibilities (40%)
• Troubleshoot production issues reported by customers or proactively identified
• Perform database administrative tasks in SQL Server
• Monitor system performance
• Deploy developed applications to QA and Production systems

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of 1+ years of experience
